So here it is, believe it or not. There have been a number of good/ interesting revelations, and just to break the ice, NXU or NX Ultimate will not be the name of the next pump mix. For now this is just project name.

-Testing/ development is presently ongoing and test machines are likely to be available in March with full release towards the end of March

-There will be new modes (what they are weren't revelaed)

-There may be cabinet buttons! similar to Pump Pro (confirmation on whether or not this would replace pad codes etc. was not clear as no firm decision had yet been made)

-A better beginners mode (much work has gone into this to help new players join pump)

-A new cabinet design which will have an improved sound system (both of which are still being developed)

-A revised interface. So something different to what we have been used to in NX, NX2 and NXA

-USBs return. However! Any USB can be used! (not just andamiro USBs)

-The final version will have "270" with a number of classics/ fan favourites returning from older mixes

-"possibly" and I say "possibly" because this is still in the testing phase: The ability to directly link 2 machines!

-A concerning note, was when I was told that they were designing new pads. I was quite shocked by this as I personally feel the pads presently on FX machines are great. However I promptly took him to the nearby DDR X machine and told him not to make the pads like these (i.e the new flat panelled pads made of wood) Photos etc... were taken and he was going to feed this back to the team. So fingers crossed on that one.)

-The development team also remains the same as NXA
